Ambient play was a temporary installation focused on sight, sound, and touch to create a unique playable experience. Commissioned by Hyde Park Village the project took over an empty store front, and turned it into an immersive interactive experience. We collaborated with artists Sebastian Coolidge and Justin Wagher to create an interactive mural. We used touch sensor technology and conductive paint to create a mural that played sounds when touched. The space also featured custom ping pong tables and interactive seating. Towards the end of the installation visitors were encouraged to color in the black and white paintings similar to a coloring book. Check out the videos to see the installation in action.
